How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Remove the trim or screws securing the user interface panel to access the keypad/display board.
- Inspect for moisture, corrosion, or physical damage on the board and connectors.
- Disconnect and reseat the ribbon cable or harness between the user interface and the main control board.
- Allow any moisture to dry completely; you can leave the panel open in a dry environment for several hours.
- Restore power and test button operation. If buttons still do not respond or respond incorrectly, replace the user interface/control panel with a Marvel OEM part.
- If a new interface does not resolve E14, the main control board may have a communication fault and require replacement.
