How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and shut off water before servicing the pump.

Steps:

Remove the ice bin and interior panels to access the water reservoir and circulation pump assembly.
Inspect the pump inlet screen for debris, scale, or slime. Clean thoroughly with warm water and a soft brush.
Check the circulation tubing for kinks or blockages and correct as needed.
With the unit still unplugged, try spinning the pump impeller (if accessible) with a small tool. If it is seized, the pump likely needs replacement.
Reconnect power briefly and listen for the pump when the unit calls for a freeze cycle. If the pump does not run and has proper voltage at its connector, replace the circulation pump with a Marvel‑specified part.
After replacement, ensure all hoses are securely clamped and there are no leaks. Restore power and verify that water now flows evenly over the evaporator plate.

Display shows E8; water does not circulate over the evaporator plate.
