How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- Turn off the ice maker and remove excess ice from the bin.
- Locate the ice level sensor or bin thermistor in the bin area. Clean any ice, frost, or debris from around it.
- Ensure the sensor is firmly mounted and oriented correctly toward the ice pile.
- Inspect the wiring harness for damage or loose connections.
- If the bin sensor is physically damaged or tests out of specification, replace it with a Marvel bin thermistor/ice level sensor.
- Restore power and monitor operation to ensure the unit now stops making ice when the bin is full.
