Marvel
Low Ice Production
Ice maker produces ice, but ice production is very slow.

Possible Causes
Dirty condenser coil, high ambient temperature, restricted airflow, scaled evaporator plate, low water pressure, early harvest due to sensor miscalibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- Clean the condenser coil thoroughly with a soft brush and vacuum. Ensure the front grille or toe‑kick is not blocked.
- Verify that the room temperature is within Marvel’s specified operating range (typically 55–100°F). Extremely hot rooms will reduce ice output.
- Check water pressure to the unit and correct any restrictions or partially closed valves.
- Remove the ice bin and inspect the evaporator plate for mineral scale. Clean with a nickel‑safe ice machine cleaner following Marvel’s instructions, then rinse thoroughly.
- Confirm that the ice thickness sensor is properly positioned and not causing premature harvest. Adjust or replace if necessary.
