Ice maker runs but makes no ice at all.

Safety: Turn off power and water before disconnecting any water lines.

Steps:

• Verify the water supply shutoff valve to the Marvel ice maker is fully open and that the supply line is not kinked.
• Check for leaks or air in the line. Bleed the line if necessary.
• Listen for the water fill at the start of a cycle. If you do not hear water entering, test and, if needed, replace the water inlet valve.
• Confirm that the circulation pump runs and that water flows over the evaporator plate. Replace the pump if it is silent or not moving water.
• If water is present and circulating but the evaporator does not frost, there may be a sealed system issue (low refrigerant, restriction, weak compressor) that requires a certified technician.
