Water pooling inside the ice bin or cabinet

Safety first: Disconnect power before working near water and electrical parts.

• Clear internal drain: Locate the internal drain hole at the bottom of the bin or sump. Flush with hot water and a small brush to remove debris.
• Check level: Use a level to ensure the ice maker is slightly pitched toward the drain. Adjust leveling legs as needed.
• Test drain pump: If equipped, verify the pump runs and discharges water. Replace if it hums but does not pump.
• Check door seal: Ensure the door or bin closes fully to maintain proper temperature and reduce melting.
