Possible Causes
Shorted sensor harness, Water intrusion into connectors, Multiple failed thermistors, Damaged sensor input section on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before inspecting wiring.
- Inspect for moisture: Look around the sensor connectors and harness for signs of water from spills or overfilling. Dry thoroughly with a cloth and allow time for evaporation.
- Check harness routing: Ensure sensor wires are not pinched by panels or touching hot components.
- Reseat all sensor connectors: Disconnect and reconnect each sensor plug (thermistors, level sensors, bin sensor) at the main PCB to clear oxidation.
- Visual check of harness: Look for rubbed-through insulation or melted sections. Repair or replace damaged harness segments.
- Board diagnosis: If E15 persists after harness inspection, the main control board may have internal damage and should be replaced by a technician.
