Ice bin overflows with ice and does not stop production

Safety: Unplug before working in the bin area.

• Clean sensor: For IR sensors, clean the emitter and receiver windows. For mechanical arms, remove ice buildup and ensure free movement.
• Check harness: Verify the bin sensor wiring is connected securely to the control board.
• Test function: Manually block the sensor or lift the arm (with power on) to see if the unit responds by stopping ice production.
• Replace sensor: If there is no response, replace the bin full sensor assembly. If the new sensor does not work, the control board may be defective.
