How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before unplugging or plugging any control cables.
- Locate communication harness: Identify the multi-wire cable connecting the ice maker module to the main control board.
- Reseat connectors: Unplug and firmly reconnect both ends of the harness. Inspect pins for bending or corrosion.
- Check cable routing: Ensure the cable is not pinched, cut, or damaged by hinges or panels.
- Swap-test (if possible): If another identical harness is present (rare), swap to test. Otherwise, replace the harness if any damage is visible.
- Board replacement: If F30 persists with a known-good harness, either the ice module board or main PCB is defective. Replace the ice module board first, then the main board if needed.
