Miele ice maker dispenser motor runs but no ice comes out

Safety: Disconnect power before placing hands in the dispenser chute.

• Seat bin properly: Remove and reinstall the ice bin, ensuring it locks into place and engages the drive mechanism.
• Inspect auger: Check the auger for cracks or separation from its shaft. Replace the bin assembly if damaged.
• Clear chute: Look up the dispenser chute for packed ice. Clear with a wooden or plastic tool; do not use metal objects.
• Check drive spline: Inspect the motor shaft spline and bin mating surface for wear. Replace worn parts.

Note: Avoid overfilling the bin, as this can increase stress on the auger and drive.
