Safety: Disconnect power if removing door components.

• Inspect for obstructions: Check hinges and surrounding areas for ice buildup or foreign objects preventing full closure. Clear as needed.
• Check gasket: Examine the gasket around the ice door for tears or flattening. Replace if it does not seal evenly.
• Adjust hinges: If possible, adjust hinge screws to realign the door so it closes flush.
• Replace springs: If the door does not self-close, replace any worn or broken springs or tension devices.

Note: A poor seal allows warm air in, leading to frost, clumping, and sensor issues.
