Possible Causes
Loose UI harness connection, failed touch control panel, defective main control board, moisture intrusion into control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel or accessing wiring.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for 5 minutes, then restore. Sometimes a control lockup can be cleared with a reset.
- Inspect control panel: Remove the front panel to access the user interface board. Check for signs of moisture, corrosion, or physical damage.
- Check harness: Ensure the ribbon cable or harness between the UI and main control board is fully seated and not pinched.
- Dry out moisture: If condensation is present, gently dry the area and improve ventilation around the unit.
- Replace UI or board: If E11 persists, replace the user interface control panel. If that does not resolve the issue, the main control board may also require replacement.
