Possible Causes
Low water pressure to unit, clogged inlet water filter screen, failed water inlet valve, kinked water supply line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off the water supply and disconnect power before working on the water system.
- Verify water supply: Confirm the household shutoff valve to the ice maker is fully open and that water pressure meets Monogram's minimum requirement (typically 20–120 psi).
- Inspect supply line: Check the copper or braided water line for kinks, crushing, or leaks. Straighten or replace as needed.
- Clean inlet screen: Remove the rear access panel to reach the water inlet valve. Turn off water, disconnect the inlet line, and inspect the valve screen for sediment. Clean gently with a small brush.
- Test valve operation: Restore power and, with caution, listen for the valve energizing during the fill portion of the cycle. If it hums but no water flows (and supply is good), replace the water inlet valve.
- Flush line: Before reconnecting, briefly flush the household water line into a bucket to remove debris.
