How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off the ice maker and discard all existing ice before cleaning.
- Clean bin: Remove the ice bin and wash it with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and sanitize with a food-safe sanitizer.
- Descale and sanitize: Run a complete cleaning and sanitizing cycle using Monogram-approved ice machine cleaner and sanitizer to remove scale and biofilm.
- Replace filter: If your installation uses an external water filter, replace the water filter cartridge according to the schedule or sooner if taste issues occur.
- Check water source: If taste persists, have the household water supply tested for contaminants or odors.
