• Improve airflow: Ensure the condenser coil is clean and the front grille is unobstructed.
• Check ambient temperature: Very high room temperatures can cause thermal overload. Improve room cooling or ventilation.
• Inspect overload: Replace a suspect compressor overload protector if it is repeatedly tripping.
• Control board: If short cycling persists with good airflow and a new overload, the main control board may have a faulty relay and should be replaced.
