E13
Neff
Cabinet Temperature Sensor Fault
E13 error, internal temperature too low or too high, ice quality inconsistent

Possible Causes
Open or shorted cabinet NTC sensor, Sensor dislodged from mounting point, Damaged harness to control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing interior panels.
Steps:
- Locate sensor: Find the cabinet temperature sensor (usually a small probe behind a cover in the ice compartment wall).
- Check mounting: Ensure the sensor is properly clipped in place and not hanging loose or touching the evaporator directly.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare to Neff's NTC chart. A reading of 0 Ω or infinite indicates failure.
- Inspect wiring: Follow the cable back to the control board, checking for pinched or broken wires.
Resolution: Replace the cabinet NTC sensor if readings are out of range or E13 persists after reseating connections.
