Possible Causes
Water supply turned off, Blocked or frozen inlet tube, Ice maker switched off in settings, Ice level sensor falsely detecting full bin
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and water before disconnecting hoses.
Steps:
- Check settings: Confirm the ice function is enabled on the Neff control panel and that any "Holiday" or energy‑saving mode is off.
- Verify water supply: Ensure the supply tap is open and the hose is not kinked. Briefly disconnect the hose at the rear and check for strong flow into a bucket.
- Inspect inlet tube: Look inside the ice compartment at the water fill tube. If it is blocked with ice, defrost it gently with warm air and investigate low temperature or dripping valve causes.
- Check ice level sensor: Clean the ice level sensor lenses and make sure the bin is correctly seated and not overfilled.
If the unit still does not produce ice after several hours of operation, further diagnosis of the valve, sensors, and control board is required.
