• Observe cycle: Listen carefully to identify whether the noise comes from the ice tray area, fan, or compressor.
• Check tray mounting: Ensure the ice tray and bin are properly seated and not loose.
• Clear jams: Remove any large chunks of ice stuck in the ejector or tray.
• Secure components: Gently bend or pad any tubing or panels that are vibrating against each other.

If gears are stripped or the ejector is misaligned, the ice maker assembly may need replacement.
