Possible Causes
Loose or damaged inlet hose, Faulty hose gasket at rear connection, Cracked internal water line, Overflow from blocked drain hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close the water supply valve immediately.
Steps:
- Check rear connections: Pull the unit out carefully and inspect the inlet hose connection at the rear. Tighten the nut and replace any flattened gasket.
- Inspect hose: Look for bulges, cracks, or kinks along the entire length of the hose.
- Check drain: If a drain hose is used, ensure it is properly inserted into the standpipe and not blocked.
- Dry base: Remove the lower panel and dry any water in the base pan to prevent float switch activation.
Replace any damaged hoses or fittings before restoring water and power.
