Display is dim, flickering, or segments are missing, but the unit still makes ice.

Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing the display.

Steps:

• Reseat connectors: Remove the control panel and reseat the display module connector on the UI board.
• Inspect for heat damage: Look for discoloration or warped plastic behind the display. Improve ventilation if the area is excessively warm.
• Replace display: If segments remain missing or dim, replace the display module or entire user interface board as supplied by Northair.

Tip: While a dim display does not affect ice production, replacing it improves usability.
