Possible Causes
Closed or clogged water supply valve, Kinked inlet hose, Failed water inlet valve, Blocked inlet screen filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off the water supply and unplug the unit before disconnecting hoses.
Steps:
- Verify water supply: Confirm the household shutoff valve is open and water pressure is adequate.
- Inspect inlet hose: Check for kinks or sharp bends. Straighten or replace the hose if damaged.
- Clean inlet screen: At the rear of the unit where the hose connects, remove the hose and inspect the small screen filter inside the inlet valve. Rinse away debris.
- Test inlet valve: If the valve does not open when the unit calls for water (you should hear a click and water flow), the solenoid may be faulty. Replace the water inlet valve assembly.
Note: Always use potable water and avoid connecting to hot water lines.
