Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Faulty wall outlet, Damaged power cord, Failed main control PCB power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not attempt repairs with the unit plugged in. Use caution around mains voltage.
Checks:
- Verify power source: Test the outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If damaged, replace the cord with a compatible Northair power cord assembly.
- Internal fuse: If accessible, check the main control board fuse. Replace only with the same rating. If it blows again, a deeper fault exists.
- Control board: If the outlet and cord are good but the unit remains dead, the main control PCB may have failed and require replacement.
Warning: If you smell burning or see scorch marks inside, discontinue use and contact a technician.
