Display shows 'CLEAN' or a cleaning icon and the unit beeps periodically.

Safety: Unplug the unit before performing a deep clean.

Cleaning procedure:

• Prepare solution: Mix a 1:1 solution of white vinegar and warm water (or use an OBH Nordica-approved descaling agent).
• Fill reservoir: Pour the solution into the water tank up to the MAX line.
• Run cleaning cycle: If your model has a dedicated CLEAN button, plug in, press CLEAN, and let the cycle run fully. If not, run 2–3 ice-making cycles and discard all ice produced.
• Clean internal surfaces: With power disconnected, wipe the evaporator, ice basket, and water distribution components with the same solution using a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive pads.
• Rinse thoroughly: Empty the reservoir, refill with clean water, and run at least one full cycle, discarding the ice to remove any vinegar taste.
• Reset reminder: Follow the user manual instructions to reset the CLEAN indicator (often by holding the CLEAN or POWER button for several seconds).
