Possible Causes
Room temperature above design limit, Ice maker placed near oven or radiator, Blocked ventilation around cabinet, Faulty ambient temperature sensor reading too high
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Move the unit only when it is unplugged and the water reservoir is secure.
Steps:
- 1. Measure room temperature: Ensure the ice maker is used in a room within the recommended range (typically 10–32°C). Move it to a cooler location if necessary.
- 2. Improve ventilation: Provide at least 10–15 cm clearance on all sides and above the unit. Do not enclose it in a cabinet while operating.
- 3. Avoid heat sources: Keep the Princess ice maker away from stoves, dishwashers, direct sunlight, and heating vents.
- 4. Reset after cooling: Turn the unit off and allow it to cool for 30 minutes, then restart. If H1 persists in a cool room, the ambient sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
