Safety: Turn off and unplug the ice maker before handling water components.

Steps:

• 1. Fill reservoir: Ensure the water level is above the MIN mark. After cleaning, the pump can run dry if the reservoir is not refilled properly.
• 2. Prime the pump: Tilt the unit slightly forward and backward to help remove air from the pump and hoses, then restart.
• 3. Clean inlet screen: Access the pump area and clean any mesh screen or filter at the pump inlet.
• 4. Observe pump: With the cover removed, briefly power the unit and check if water circulates over the evaporator. If not, and the pump is silent or only hums, the pump may need replacement.
