Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty power cord, Defective on/off switch, Failed main control PCB power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Princess ice maker before opening any panels. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a technician.
Steps:
- 1. Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm it has power.
- 2. Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks on the cord and plug. Do not use the unit if the cord is damaged; replace it.
- 3. Verify power switch: Ensure the power switch is firmly in the ON position. Some models have a rear rocker switch in addition to the front control.
- 4. Internal fuse: Remove the rear or bottom cover and locate the fuse on the main PCB or near the power entry. If blown (filament broken or glass blackened), replace with the exact same rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault that needs professional diagnosis.
