Ice maker produces ice, but cubes are very small or hollow.

Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning internal water components.

Steps:

• 1. Top up water: Ensure the reservoir is filled to the correct level with cold water.
• 2. Clean pump filter: Remove the ice basket and access the pump inlet screen. Rinse away debris and scale.
• 3. Descale water path: Run a cleaning cycle with descaler or vinegar (if allowed) to remove mineral buildup from the water distributor and evaporator.
• 4. Check water flow: With the cover removed, start a cycle and verify that water flows evenly over the entire evaporator plate. If flow is weak or uneven, the pump may be failing and require replacement.
