Steps:

• 1. Reduce lid opening: Open the lid only when necessary to minimize warm air entering.
• 2. Check ambient temperature: Use the ice maker in a cooler room to slow melting.
• 3. Inspect internal fan (if equipped): Some Princess models use a small fan to move cold air into the basket area. Ensure it runs and is not blocked by ice or debris.

Note that most countertop ice makers, including many Princess models, are not freezers; ice will gradually melt and is recirculated.
