How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before opening the control panel.
- Step 1 – Dry the panel: Wipe the surface and allow the unit to sit unplugged for several hours to dry any internal moisture.
- Step 2 – Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the front/top panel and carefully reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main board.
- Step 3 – Inspect for damage: Look for cracks or wear on the keypad PCB. If buttons feel mushy or do not click, the board may be worn.
- Step 4 – Replace keypad board: Install a new Pro Breeze keypad / button PCB if issues persist.
