Possible Causes
Partially blocked water pump inlet, Mineral buildup in water distribution tray, Low water level in reservoir, Weak circulation water pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working around water components.
- Step 1 – Check water level: Fill the reservoir to the MAX line with fresh water. Avoid using very cold water, which can affect cube formation.
- Step 2 – Clean water tray: Remove the ice basket and top cover. Locate the water distribution tray above the evaporator. Remove and clean it with warm water and vinegar to clear mineral deposits from the holes.
- Step 3 – Inspect pump inlet: Check the pump intake screen for debris or scale. Clean thoroughly.
- Step 4 – Descale the system: Run a cleaning cycle (if available) or circulate a vinegar solution through the system, then flush with clean water.
- Step 5 – Replace weak pump: If water flow over the evaporator remains weak, replace the Pro Breeze circulation water pump.
