Visible white scale or mineral deposits on the evaporator and in the water tray.

Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before descaling.

• Step 1 – Prepare descaling solution: Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water.
• Step 2 – Soak removable parts: Remove the water tray and any removable hoses and soak them in the solution for 30–60 minutes. Scrub gently with a soft brush.
• Step 3 – Wipe evaporator: Dampen a cloth with the solution and carefully wipe the evaporator fingers. Do not pour liquid directly onto electrical parts.
• Step 4 – Rinse thoroughly: Rinse all parts with clean water and wipe dry.
• Step 5 – Prevent recurrence: Use filtered water and perform a cleaning cycle monthly.
