Ice cubes are very small or hollow, melt quickly in the basket

Safety: Unplug before accessing internal water parts.

• Fill reservoir: Ensure the water level is at or just below the MAX line. Top up with cold, clean water.
• Check ice size setting: On models with size selection, choose a larger cube size to extend freeze time.
• Clean water distributor: Remove the top cover (if user-serviceable) and inspect the water distribution tube or tray above the evaporator. Clear any limescale or debris from the holes using a soft brush or toothpick.
• Descale system: Run a cleaning cycle with a vinegar solution to remove internal scale that may restrict water flow.

If cubes remain consistently small despite proper water level and cleaning, the temperature sensor or control timing may be faulty and require service.
