Possible Causes
Dirty infrared sensor window, Misaligned sensor bracket, Faulty ice full sensor PCB, Reflective object in sensor path
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before cleaning sensors.
- Clean sensor lenses: Wipe the small windows on both sides of the ice basket area with a soft, dry cloth to remove condensation and dust.
- Remove reflective items: Do not place shiny metal scoops or reflective objects in the sensor path.
- Check basket position: Ensure the basket is correctly seated and not pushing against the sensor housing.
- Power cycle: Unplug for 5 minutes, then restart to reset the sensor logic.
If the 'Ice Full' light remains on with an empty basket, the sensor assembly is likely faulty and should be replaced.
