Visible white flakes or particles in the ice cubes

Safety: Unplug before descaling.

• Discard affected ice: Throw away any ice containing visible particles.
• Descale system: Drain the reservoir. Fill with a 1:1 white vinegar and water solution. Run the unit for 15–20 minutes, then turn off and let it soak for another 30 minutes.
• Clean evaporator: Wipe the evaporator plate with a soft cloth soaked in the vinegar solution to remove visible scale.
• Rinse thoroughly: Drain and refill with clean water. Run at least 2 full cycles and discard the ice to flush out any remaining vinegar and loosened scale.

In very hard water areas, use filtered or softened water and descale regularly to prevent recurrence.
