Reduced Ice Production Rate
Ice maker makes ice very slowly (takes days to fill the bucket).

Possible Causes
Freezer temperature slightly too warm, Restricted water flow through filter, Partially clogged water inlet valve, Ice room fan not circulating enough cold air
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator if you will remove panels or work near wiring.
Steps:
- Check temperature settings: Set the freezer to 0°F (-18°C) and refrigerator to 37°F (3°C). Too warm and the ice maker cycles slowly.
- Replace water filter: If older than 6 months or if water flow is weak, replace the Samsung water filter with a genuine part.
- Inspect condenser coils: Dirty coils reduce cooling efficiency. Clean dust from the rear or bottom coils with a brush and vacuum.
- Check ice room fan: Listen for the fan running in the ice room. If airflow is weak or noisy, the fan motor may be failing and should be replaced.
After adjustments, allow 24–48 hours to evaluate ice production rate.
