Ice is soft, wet, or melts quickly in the bin

Safety: Turn off power before adjusting door or bin components.

• Check bin door seal: Inspect the gasket for tears or gaps. Replace if damaged so warm air does not enter the bin.
• Verify ventilation: Ensure the bin and machine are not installed in a confined, hot space.
• Monitor harvest: Observe a harvest cycle to ensure ice fully releases and falls into the bin. If harvest is too short, a technician may need to adjust or replace the control or hot gas valve.
• Check bin drain: Make sure the bin drain is not clogged, allowing meltwater to exit instead of soaking the ice.
