Ice cubes are cloudy or white instead of clear.

Note: Cloudy ice is usually not a functional fault but a water quality issue.

Steps:

• Use filtered water: Fill the SMAD ice maker with filtered or bottled water with lower mineral content.
• Descale system: Perform a descaling cycle with a vinegar solution to remove existing mineral buildup from the evaporator and water paths.
• Adjust settings: If your model allows, select a larger cube size or normal mode to slow freezing slightly, which can improve clarity.
