Ice cubes appear cloudy or white instead of clear.

Safety first: Use only potable water.

• Use filtered or softened water: Fill the reservoir with filtered, distilled, or softened water to reduce mineral content.
• Flush system: Drain the reservoir, refill with clean water, and discard the first 2–3 batches of ice.
• Descale evaporator: Clean the evaporator plate with a vinegar solution to remove existing mineral film.
