How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and remove the ice basket.
- Check water level: Ensure the reservoir is filled to the proper level.
- Inspect pump inlet: Locate the water pump in the reservoir area and clean any debris from the inlet screen.
- Bleed air: Tilt the unit slightly to help release trapped air from the pump, then set it back level.
- Test pump: Plug in and listen for the pump during the fill phase. If silent, unplug and check the pump wiring connector.
- Replace pump: If the pump receives power but does not run, replace it with an OEM SPT water circulation pump.
