• Clean overflow path: Clear any ice or debris from the tray overflow channels.
• Check valve (plumbed-in): If connected to a water line, inspect the inlet valve for sticking. Replace the valve if it does not close fully.
• Control issue: If overflow occurs only intermittently and no mechanical cause is found, the control board may be mis-timing the pump and could require replacement.
