Possible Causes
Unit not level, Loose mounting brackets, Compressor or fan vibration transmitted to cabinet, Ice bin not seated properly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use caution when tilting or moving the unit. Avoid pinching fingers under leveling legs.
Steps to reduce vibration:
- 1. Level the unit: Use a bubble level on top of the ice maker. Adjust the front leveling legs until the unit is level front-to-back and side-to-side.
- 2. Check mounting: For built-in models, verify that mounting brackets and screws are tight and that the unit is properly secured to the cabinet.
- 3. Inspect bin and panels: Ensure the ice bin is fully seated and that all panels and grilles are properly installed and not rattling.
- 4. Isolate vibration: If necessary, place thin rubber pads under the leveling legs to dampen vibration transfer to the floor.
