Frost or ice buildup on the evaporator or inside cabinet walls.

Safety: Unplug the unit before defrosting. Do not use sharp tools to remove ice.

Defrost:

• Remove ice and contents from the bin.
• Allow the unit to sit unplugged with the door open until all frost melts. Use towels to absorb water.

Prevent recurrence:

• Inspect and replace the door gasket if it is not sealing.
• Limit door openings and ensure the door closes fully each time.
• If frost returns quickly, the harvest/defrost system (hot gas valve, sensors, control board) may need professional diagnosis.
