Ice cubes are too small, thin, or hollow.

Safety: Unplug the unit and close the water supply before servicing water components.

Water level:

• Check the water reservoir during a fill cycle. If it is not reaching the proper level, clean the inlet valve screen and verify water pressure.
• Replace the water inlet valve if it does not fully open.

Ice thickness control:

• Locate the ice thickness sensor or adjustment screw (if your Summit model has one). Refer to the manual for proper setting.
• Clean the sensor and evaporator surface with ice machine cleaner to remove scale that can cause premature harvest.

Adjust: Make small adjustments to the thickness setting and test several cycles until cube size is acceptable.
