Ice maker door or bin door does not close properly or pops open.

Safety: Ensure the unit is stable before adjusting the door.

Check for obstructions:

• Remove excess ice or items that may be blocking the door from closing fully.

Hinges and gasket:

• Inspect hinges for looseness; tighten mounting screws.
• Check the door gasket for deformation or tears. Warm the gasket with a hair dryer on low to help it reseal if slightly warped.
• If the gasket is damaged, replace it with a compatible Summit gasket.
