How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before working near the bin sensor.

Sensor inspection:

Locate the bin full sensor (mechanical arm or infrared sensor) near the top of the bin.
Clean the sensor surfaces and ensure no ice is wedged around the sensor arm or lenses.
Check that the sensor arm (if present) moves freely and returns to its rest position.

Electrical:

Inspect wiring to the sensor for damage and reseat connectors.
If the sensor is clean and moves freely but the unit never stops, replace the bin full sensor assembly.
If a new sensor does not correct the issue, the main control board may be defective.
