Possible Causes
Stuck or failed CLEAN button, UI firmware glitch, Dirty mode selector contacts, Faulty main control firmware
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Power reset: Leave the unit unplugged for 5–10 minutes to reset the control electronics, then plug back in and attempt to start cleaning mode again.
- Step 2 – Check CLEAN button: Press the CLEAN or MODE button repeatedly. If it feels stuck or does not click, the button may be mechanically failed.
- Step 3 – Inspect UI board: Remove the front panel and inspect the UI PCB for corrosion or contamination around the button contacts. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Step 4 – Firmware update (if supported): Some Teendow models may support firmware updates via USB or service port; follow manufacturer instructions.
- Step 5 – Replace UI or main board: If E19 persists, replace the user interface board first. If still unresolved, replace the main control PCB.
