• Step 1 – Check ice thickness: If ice is very thick, adjust the ice thickness sensor to reduce slab size and impact during harvest.
• Step 2 – Inspect deflector and chute: Ensure the ice deflector and chute are firmly mounted and not striking the cabinet when ice drops.
• Step 3 – Tighten evaporator mounts: Verify the evaporator plate and its brackets are secure and not shifting during harvest.
• Step 4 – Add padding: Where safe, add thin foam or rubber strips between metal panels that are banging together.
