Possible Causes
Water supply turned off, Failed water inlet valve, Non-running compressor, Faulty main control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the Teendow ice maker and shut off water before internal checks.
- Step 1 – Confirm water and power: Verify the outlet has power and the water shutoff valve is fully open. Check the supply hose for kinks.
- Step 2 – Listen for operation: Plug in and start a cycle. Listen for the water valve click, pump running, and compressor starting. Absence of these sounds helps narrow the fault.
- Step 3 – Inspect water inlet valve: If no water enters the reservoir, clean or replace the water inlet valve.
- Step 4 – Check compressor and fan: If the unit fills with water but never cools, inspect the compressor start relay and condenser fan as described in E6 and E4.
- Step 5 – Evaluate control board: If all hardware appears functional but the unit never initiates a freeze cycle, the main control PCB may be defective and require replacement.
