Ice maker runs continuously and does not stop even when the bin is full.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before working in the bin area.

• Step 1 – Verify sensor type: Determine if your Teendow model uses an infrared sensor or mechanical arm to detect a full bin.
• Step 2 – Clean and align sensors: For IR systems, clean both emitter and receiver lenses and ensure they face each other correctly.
• Step 3 – Free mechanical arm: For arm-type sensors, ensure the arm moves freely and is not jammed by ice.
• Step 4 – Inspect wiring: Check for shorted or bypassed sensor wires that could signal “bin empty” continuously.
• Step 5 – Replace sensor: Install a new Teendow-compatible bin full sensor or switch if the original is defective.
