Possible Causes
Clogged internal drain port, Frozen drain line, Failed drain pump, Improper unit leveling
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before clearing drains.
- Step 1 – Level the unit: Use a level to ensure the Teendow ice maker is slightly tilted toward the drain outlet as specified.
- Step 2 – Clear drain port: Locate the internal drain hole and flush with warm water to remove debris and scale.
- Step 3 – Thaw frozen drain: If the drain line is iced over, allow the unit to defrost fully. Do not use sharp tools to chip ice.
- Step 4 – Test drain pump: For pump-equipped models, verify the pump runs and discharges water. Replace the pump if it does not operate.
